Expedia Mexico launches an immersive online gastronomic experience lead by chef Javier Plascencia.

The goal was to create standout travel content for Expedia.mx, blending culture and immersive experiences. Recognizing gastronomy as a key travel driver, we partnered with chef Javier Plascencia to showcase Baja California cuisine through award-winning videos.

The microsite mirrored a restaurant menu, with sections like appetizers and desserts, each featuring documentaries, tour recommendations, and culinary highlights.

The promotion included Expedia.mx social channels, media outreach, and partnerships with food and travel influencers who shared Baja's unique flavors, inspiring travelers to explore the region.

Results:

  • 35% organic traffic growth

  • 192,000+ clicks and 400 shares on social

  • +67.000 page views
